Real Madrid faced off against Girona at the Estadi Montilivi earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result away from home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a poor start to the game and conceded two quick goals as Valentin Castellanos netted a brace inside the first 24 minutes of the contest. However, Vinicius Jr. found the back of the net in the 34th minute as Carlo Ancelotti’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.

Castellanos completed his hattrick in the 46th minute before killing the game off by scoring again just after the hour mark. Lucas Vazquez scored a late goal as Real Madrid crashed to a poor 4-2 defeat on the road.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player fared during the match against Girona.

GK: Andriy Lunin – 5/10

He made one just save in the game and conceded four goals during the 90 minutes.

RB: Dani Carvajal – 5.5/10

Carvajal struggled to give a good account of himself and was replaced in the 78th minute.

CB: Eder Militao – 5.5/10

He had a couple of bright moments in the game but won’t be happy after shipping in four goals tonight.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 5.5/10

Rudiger showed some fight at times but was far from convincing at the back.
