Newcastle United entertained Manchester United at St. James’ Park earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a win at home in the Premier League. The Magpies made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Callum Wilson made the points secure for Newcastle by finding the back of the net in the 88th minute. The match ended with the Magpies earning an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home supporters.

The Brazilian sensation anchored the midfield with conviction and was a lively presence on the ball.
CM: Joe Willock – 8/10
Willock opened the goal-scoring for Newcastle United in the 65th minute. He even came back to defend when needed.
RW: Jacob Murphy – 6.5/10
He engineered a few decent chances in the opponent’s half and was replaced in the 67th minute.
ST: Alexander Isak – 7/10
Isak caused a few headaches for the Man United defenders but there was no goal for him this evening.
LW: Allan Saint-Maximin – 8/10
Saint-Maximin caused all kinds of problems for his marker and was excellent with his link-up play but has got nothing to show for his efforts.
