In a recent tweet, RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins claimed that Manchester United are showing interest in Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani. It is believed that the Red Devils will have to rival Bayern Munich in the race to recruit the France international this summer.

Kolo Muani’s Excellent Numbers In Bundesliga This Season
Kolo Muani is experiencing a brilliant campaign at Frankfurt as he has put in a series of impressive performances on the attacking end of the pitch. The 24-year-old has banged in 20 goals and picked up 14 assists in 40 appearances for the German club this season across various competitions.
The French striker has been a consistent performer in the final third based on his average of 2.3 shots, 1.1 key passes and 2.3 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga. However, he has to find a way to improve his link-up play up top, as evidenced by his pass success rate of 66.5% in the top tier of German football (stats via whoscored).
His current contract at the German club is set to run out in the summer of 2027. Hence, it won’t be easy for Man United to lure him away from Frankfurt on the cheap in this off-season.

Kolo Muani can create space for himself to get a few strikes in at goal. He has proven his worth as a decent finisher in front of the opponent’s goal and can also engineer some promising chances for his teammates in the final third. We can expect Kolo Muani to add more firepower to Man United head coach Erik ten Hag’s frontline. He would also serve as an upgrade over Wout Weghorst, whose loan spell at the Mancunian club expires in the summer.
