Liverpool faced off against Leeds United at Elland Road earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 35th minute when Cody Gakpo found the back of the net. Mohamed Salah doubled Liverpool’s advantage just four minutes later as Jurgen Klopp‘s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Luis Sinisterra got a goal back for Leeds in the 47th minute. However, Diogo Jota restored his team’s two-goal advantage just five minutes later. Salah made it 4-1 for Liverpool in the 64th minute before Jota scored again just nine minutes later. Darwin Nunez came off the bench and put the icing on the cake by scoring his team’s sixth goal in the 90th minute. The contest ended with the Merseyside club earning a dominant 6-1 win away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the match against the Whites.

GK: Alisson Becker – 6.5/10

The Brazilian keeper made a couple of decent saves at the back but couldn’t do much about Sinisterra’s finish early in the second half.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 8.5/10

He ran the show in the Leeds half and has got two assists to his name.

CB: Ibrahima Konate – 6.5/10

Konate made a few important contributions on the defensive end of the field but was guilty of committing a poor mistake in the lead-up to Sinisterra’s goal.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7/10

He controlled the flow of the game well from the back and dealt with the danger when required.
