Tottenham Hotspur will face Manchester United as they welcome them to North London on Thursday night, hoping to redeem themselves from their last league outing. The Lilywhites were defeated 6-1 in a humiliating manner when they faced off against Newcastle United last weekend, so they will have to pick themselves up and perform better in this subsequent Premier League encounter.
Christian Stellini will probably opt for a 3-4-3 formation and is expected to keep the changes to a minimum. Harry Kane will continue to lead the charge against the opposition while Hugo Lloris operates in goal.
3-4-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted XI Vs Manchester United
Defence
Hugo Lloris will function in goal for Spurs and hope to give out a better performance. Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier and Cristian Romero will make Tottenham’s back three as they focus on stopping the United attackers from causing problems throughout the game.
Clement Lenglet will take a spot on the bench as he offers cover for the centre-back positions.
Midfield
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp will continue to anchor the midfield for Spurs as they try to establish dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.
Pedro Porro will look to impress on the right flank, while Ivan Perisic looks to put in a productive performance as the left wing-back. Both of them will need to work hard at both ends of the field if Tottenham is to come out on top in this midweek contest.
Pape Matar Sarr will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
Attack
Heung-min Son will remain on the left wing, while Dejan Kulusevski provides support from the right flank. Harry Kane will spearhead Tottenham’s attack on his own up top.
Richarlison and Arnaut Danjuma will be available for selection on the bench as they wait to impact in the second half if required.
