Leeds United will face off against Crystal Palace as they welcome them to Elland Road on Sunday for this Premier League encounter. The Whites managed to earn a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest, which will give them some confidence ahead of this game.
Javi Gracia will set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and could name a strong first XI for this game. Patrick Bamford will lead the line while Illan Meslier operates in goal for this weekend’s contest.

Defence
Illan Meslier will feature in between the sticks for the Whites after shipping in a goal in his last league outing. Pascal Struijk will function alongside Robin Koch at the centre of the Leeds backline as they try to keep the Palace attackers frustrated this weekend.
Luke Ayling would look to impress at right-back, while Junior Firpo looks to put in a good performance as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well if they are to stop the opposition from creating problems from the wide areas.
Maximilian Wöber is unlikely to recover in time for this game due to a thigh injury, however, Liam Cooper will take a spot on the bench.
Midfield
Weston McKennie and Marc Roca will try to give a good account of themselves at the centre of the park as they assume the duties of the holding midfielders. Both of them need to work hard to stop the opposition from dominating the game in midfield.
The gifted trio of Jack Harrison, Brenden Aaronson and Crysencio Summerville will play just ahead of them as part of Gracia’s attack. Harrison and Summerville will have to put their pace to good use out on the flanks.
Rodrigo and Luis Sinisterra will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second half if needed.
Attack
Patrick Bamford will lead the line for the West Yorkshire club in the final third. He has to find a way to cause a few headaches for the Seagulls centre-backs on the counter if Leeds are to stand a chance of securing a positive result this weekend.
Georginio Rutter will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Gracia opts to call upon his services.
