West Ham United entertained Chelsea at the London Stadium earlier today as they focused on earning a win in front of their home fans. The Hammers made a sloppy start to the contest as they shipped in the opener in the 28th minute when Joao Felix found the back of the net for the Blues. However, David Moyes’ men netted the leveler just 12 minutes later when Emerson Palmieri got his name on the scoresheet. The two teams went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.
Both London clubs canceled each other out in the second 45 minutes as the derby ended with West Ham being held to a 1-1 draw at home.

Fabianski made a few solid saves during the game but won’t be pleased after allowing an early goal.

He did his fair share of defending inside his half and was a good presence on the ball as well.

Ogbonna got stuck in with some solid tackles and made a couple of crucial clearances at the back.

He earned the ball back a few times during the game and didn’t hesitate to put his foot through the ball when needed.
RM: Vladimir Coufal – 6.5/10
Coufal was mostly solid on the defensive end of the field but didn’t do much to influence the game in the Chelsea half.
CM: Lucas Paqueta – 6/10
He picked up an injury and had to come off in the 13th minute.
CM: Declan Rice – 6.5/10
The England international anchored the midfield well at times and made two energetic runs with the ball from midfield.
LM: Emerson Palmieri – 7.5/10
Emerson gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch and scored the all-important equaliser for his team in the 28th minute.
RAM: Jarrod Bowen – 7/10
Bowen made a few inviting chances for his teammates and ended the game with an assist to his name.
LAM: Said Benrahma – 6/10
He had a few bright moments in the Chelsea half but never looked like he would score today.
ST: Michail Antonio – 6.5/10
Antonio was impressive at times for West Ham in the final third. However, there was no goal for him in the London derby.
