Chelsea locked horns with West Ham United at the London Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 16th-minute courtesy of Joao Felix’s goal. However, the home team equalised with the help of Emerson Palmieri’s goal just 12 minutes later as both clubs went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

The West London club pushed on in search of the winning goal but failed to find it as the London derby finished with a 1-1 scoreline.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the match against the Hammers.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – 6.5/10

He made one good save and one important clearance during the game but failed to keep a clean sheet.

RB: Reece James – 7/10

James didn’t do much wrong at the back and was a threat going forward.

CB: Thiago Silva – 6.5/10

The Brazilian talent cleared the danger when needed and was tidy with his passing.

CB: Benoit Badiashile – 6.5/10

Badiashile was a dominant presence in the air and made some crucial defensive contributions at the back.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6.5/10

He performed his defensive duties well but lacked quality in the West Ham half.

CM: Ruben Loftus-Cheek – 7/10

Loftus-Cheek did his fair share of defending and made some decent runs with the ball from midfield.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 7.5/10

He earned the ball back twice and had a few lively moments in the final third. Fernandez ended the game with an assist to his name.

RM: Noni Madueke – 7/10

Madueke made a few driving runs with the ball down the right flank but has got nothing to show for his efforts.

CAM: Joao Felix – 8/10

He was a constant menace in the final third and scored a good goal to open his goal-scoring account for Chelsea.

LM: Mykhailo Mudryk – 6/10

Mudryk worked hard but struggled to be decisive in the final third.

ST: Kai Havertz – 6/10

He showed a few flashes of what he is capable of in the opponent’s half but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

Substitutes:

RW: Hakim Ziyech – 6/10

Ziyech made one decent run with the ball.

LB: Ben Chilwell – 7/10

He made one key chance in the final third.
