Real Madrid faced off against Mallorca at the Mallorca Son Moix Stadium earlier today as they focused on earning a good result on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 13th minute when Nacho scored an unfortunate own goal. Carlo Ancelotti’s men failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.

The Madrid giants were lackluster in the final third and struggled to net the all-important equaliser in the second 45 minutes as they crashed to a disappointing 1-0 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the match against Mallorca.

GK: Andriy Lunin – 6/10

Lunin conceded an early goal but hardly had anything to do in the game.

RB: Dani Carvajal – 6/10

The Spaniard got stuck in with a couple of solid tackles and engineered two good chances in the final third.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 7/10

Rudiger earned the ball back twice and was a threat at the other end of the field.

CB: Nacho – 5.5/10

He looked shaky at the back and scored an unfortunate own goal which was the difference between the two sides today.

LB: Eduardo Camavinga – 7/10

Camavinga did his fair share of defending and was lively in the opponent’s half.

CM: Federico Valverde – 6/10

He had a few strikes at goal but was wasteful on the attacking third of the pitch.

CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 7.5/10

Tchouameni anchored the midfield with conviction and was a good presence on the ball as well.

CM: Dani Ceballos – 6.5/10

He earned the ball back a couple of times for Real Madrid and even managed to engineer a few inviting chances for his teammates to find the back of the net.

RW: Marco Asensio – 5.5/10

Asensio wasted a few good chances to score and produced a toothless display on the right flank.

ST: Rodrygo – 6.5/10

He caused a few headaches for the Mallorca defenders but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 7.5/10

The Brazilian winger made a lot of dangerous runs with the ball but has got nothing to show for his efforts.

Substitutes:

CM: Luka Modric – 6.5/10

He added some creativity to Real Madrid’s midfield.

CM: Toni Kroos – 6.5/10

The German sensation made one key chance in the final third.

ST: Mariano Diaz – 6/10

He failed to find the back of the net.

CB: David Alaba – 6.5/10

Alaba engineered some decent chances going forward.
