Aston Villa clashed heads with Everton at Goodison Park earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points away from home. The Villans made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.

Ollie Watkins finally opened the goal-scoring for the West Midlands club in the 63rd minute before Emiliano Buendia made it 2-0 to Aston Villa in the 81st minute. The contest ended with Unai Emery’s men earning an impressive 2-0 victory on their travels.

Kamara anchored the midfield relatively well and was good on the ball.

The Brazilian midfield ace earned the ball back twice and made one good run with the ball.

He showed a few flashes of what he is capable of but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

Bailey struggled to get into the flow of the game and was replaced in the 60th minute.

He was a constant menace in the final third and managed to score from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute.


ST: Emiliano Buendia – 7/10

Buendia made an immediate impact off the bench and killed the game off by getting his name on the scoresheet in the 81st minute.

He was solid at the back and made one encouraging run with the ball.
