Aston Villa clashed heads with Everton at Goodison Park earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points away from home. The Villans made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.
Ollie Watkins finally opened the goal-scoring for the West Midlands club in the 63rd minute before Emiliano Buendia made it 2-0 to Aston Villa in the 81st minute. The contest ended with Unai Emery’s men earning an impressive 2-0 victory on their travels.
