Manchester United faced off against Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a good result in the Carabao Cup final. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 33rd minute via Casemiro’s goal. Sven Botman scored an unfortunate own goal for the Magpies just six minutes later which gave Man United a healthy 2-0 lead at the half-time interval.

Erik ten Hag’s men managed the game well in the second 45 minutes and secured a brilliant 2-0 win in London.
