Liverpool locked horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a result on the road. The Reds made a horror start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the fifth minute when Joel Matip scored an unfortunate own goal. Craig Dawson doubled his team’s advantage just seven minutes later with a powerful finish from close range. The Merseyside club went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Ruben Neves killed the game off in the 71st minute as he scored a wonderful breakaway goal for Wolves. The contest finished with Jurgen Klopp’s men suffering a disappointing 3-0 loss away from home.
