West Ham United faced off against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a positive result away from home in the Premier League. The Hammers made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the third minute when Callum Wilson found the back of the net for Newcastle. The East London club managed to equalise in the 32nd minute via Lucas Paqueta’s effort as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

David Moyes’ men were solid in the second half and secured a hard-fought 1-1 draw away at Tyneside.

Let’s take a look at how each West Ham United player performed during the clash against the Magpies.

GK: Lukasz Fabianski – 6/10

The Polish keeper made one good save during the game but won’t be happy after shipping in an early goal.

CB: Thilo Kehrer – 6/10

He made a couple of crucial defensive contributions but was substituted at half-time.

CB: Angelo Ogbonna – 6.5/10

Ogbonna gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field but lacked quality at times on the ball.

CB: Nayef Aguerd – 7/10

He was a solid presence inside West Ham’s half and was good on the ball as well.
