Real Madrid faced off against Villarreal at the Estadio de la Cerámica earlier today as they looked to earn a good result away from home. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

The Madrid giants made a sloppy start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 47th minute when Yeremy Pino found the back of the net for the home team. Karim Benzema equalised for Los Blancos at the hour mark as he managed to successfully convert his penalty. However, Gerard Moreno restored Villarreal’s lead just three minutes later from the penalty spot as the Madrid giants crashed to a 2-1 loss on the road.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the match against Villarreal.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 7/10

The Belgian international made a couple of solid saves at the back but won’t be happy after conceding two goals this evening.

RB: Eder Militao – 6.5/10

Militao tried his best to keep things solid at the back and was good on the ball as well.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 6.5/10

The German centre-back performed his defensive duties well and was a threat in the final third.

CB: David Alaba – 6/10

Alaba cleared the danger when needed and was accurate when distributing the ball from the ball. However, he will be disappointed after shipping in a couple of goals in the second half.
