Arsenal faced off against Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result on the road. The Gunners made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 14th minute when Hugo Lloris scored an unfortunate own goal. Martin Odegaard scored a superb goal in the 36th minute to double his team’s lead as Arsenal went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

The Gunners managed the game well in the second half and secured an impressive 2-0 win in the North London derby.

The English keeper made a lot of crucial saves at the back and earned a well-deserved clean sheet today.

RB: Ben White – 7.5/10

He was strong in the air and didn’t do much wrong at the back.

Saliba made a few crucial clearances inside his half and won a couple of aerial duels.

CB: Gabriel – 7/10

The Brazilian talent gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch but was a bit untidy with his passing.

LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko – 7/10

Zinchenko was a strong presence in the air and was accurate with his passing. He also made some important contributions at the back.

CM: Martin Odegaard – 8/10

He was a constant menace in the final third and scored a good goal to double Arsenal’s advantage before half-time.

CM: Thomas Partey – 7.5/10

The talented midfielder offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was a good presence on the ball as well.

CM: Granit Xhaka – 7.5/10

Xhaka earned the ball back twice and made one key chance in the final third.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 7/10

He made two key chances on the right wing and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

ST: Eddie Nketiah – 7/10

Nketiah was a constant menace up top but failed to register a goal.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 7/10

He engineered some decent chances in the final third but lacked quality in front of the opponent’s goal.


LB: Kieran Tierney – 6/10

Tierney made one solid tackle at the back but struggled to make an impact going forward.

RB: Takehiro Tomiyasu – N/A

He came on for the final few moments of the game.

CAM: Emile Smith Rowe – N/A

Smith Rowe hardly had any time to make an impact.

CM: Fabio Vieira – N/A

He came on as a substitute in injury time.
