Arsenal will lock horns with Tottenham Hotspur for the North London Derby on Sunday, hoping to maintain their position at the top of the Premier League table. The Gunners will be coming into the match on the back of a comfortable 3-0 victory against Oxford United to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup, so they will be hoping to pick up a positive result in this away encounter.

Mikel Arteta will make use of the 4-3-3 formation allowing Eddie Nketiah to continue his rich run of form to lead the charge up top while Martin Odegaard returns to the middle of the park.

Aaron Ramsdale will continue to operate in between the sticks for the upcoming away clash. The English shot-stopper would hope to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet in this contest. Gabriel Magalhaes will form the centre-half partnership with William Saliba at the heart of Arsenal’s backline.

Oleksandr Zinchenko will replace Kieran Tierney at the left-back position, whereas Ben White might fill in on the other flank as the right-back as Takehiro Tomiyasu drops to the bench. The duo would be looking to stretch the opposition’s backline and create meaningful chances for the frontmen.

Tierney and Tomiyasu will wait for their chance to shine in the second half if Arteta calls upon their services.

Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard will form the midfield trio, with the former occupying a more defensive role while the latter will be tasked with creating enough opportunities in front of the goal.

Albert Sambi Lokonga will take his place on the bench to provide cover for the midfield positions.

As mentioned earlier, Eddie Nketiah will lead the line on his own up top to get his name on the scoresheet again after an impressive display in his last outing where he found the back of the net twice.

Nketiah will be accompanied by Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka on either side, playing on the left and right-wing, respectively. Both of them will be hoping to produce decent opportunities in front of the goal.
