Manchester United clashed heads with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win in the first leg of their EFL Cup semifinal tie. The Red Devils made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the sixth-minute courtesy of Marcus Rashford’s goal. Wout Weghorst doubled Man United’s lead in the 45th minute as Erik ten Hag’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Bruno Fernandes added another goal late in the game as the Mancunian giants cruised to an impressive 3-0 win away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the match against Nottingham.

CB: Lisandro Martinez – 8/10

The Argentine talent gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and was a strong presence in the air as well.
