Chelsea faced off against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground earlier this afternoon as they focused on securing a good result on their travels in the Premier League. The Blues made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 16th minute courtesy of Raheem Sterling’s goal. Graham Potters’ men managed their lead well and went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

However, Chelsea ended up conceding the equaliser in the 63rd minute when Serge Aurier scored with a good finish. The match finished with the West London club being held to a 1-1 draw away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the match against Nottingham.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – 7/10

The Spanish keeper made a few crucial saves at the back but won’t be happy after conceding a goal after the hour mark.

RB: Cesar Azpilicueta – 6.5/10

He was mostly solid when defending inside his half but offered very little going forward.

CB: Kalidou Koulibaly – 7/10

Koulibaly did his fair share of defending and managed to create a couple of decent chances in the final third.

CB: Thiago Silva – 6.5/10

The Brazilian sensation cleared the danger when needed but will be disappointed for not keeping a clean sheet.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 7/10

He didn’t put a foot wrong on the defensive end of the field but lacked quality going forward.

CM: Denis Zakaria – 6.5/10

Zakaria made one good run from midfield but struggled to get a foothold in the game.

CM: Jorginho – 6/10

The Italian midfield ace struggled to get into the rhythm of the game and produced an underwhelming display at the centre of the park.

CM: Mason Mount – 6/10

The English talent had a couple of lively moments on the attacking third of the pitch but there was no goal for him today.

RW: Raheem Sterling – 7/10

He showed some flashes of what he is capable of and scored for Chelsea in the 16th minute.

ST: Kai Havertz – 6/10

Havertz was accurate with his link-up play but never looked like he would find the back of the net.

LW: Christian Pulisic – 6.5/10

He was a threat in the final third but failed to register a goal today.

CM: Mateo Kovacic – 6/10

He added some energy to Potter’s midfield.

CM: Conor Gallagher – 6/10

Gallagher failed to influence the game going forward.

RW: Hakim Ziyech – 6.5/10

He made one good chance in the final third.

ST: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 6/10

Aubameyang offered very little after coming on as a substitute.

CM: Carney Chukwuemeka – N/A

He hardly had any time to influence the game.
