Chelsea welcomed Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win in front of their home fans in the Premier League. The Blues were solid in the first 45 minutes and were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.

Graham Potter’s men pushed on in search of the opening goal and finally found it in the 64th minute when Kai Havertz got his name on the scoresheet. The West London club managed to hang on to their narrow advantage and earned an impressive 1-0 win in the London derby.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the match against the Eagles.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – 8/10

The Spanish keeper made a handful of solid saves at the back and secured a well-deserved clean sheet at home.

RB: Trevoh Chalobah – 7.5/10

Chalobah gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field but offered little going forward.

CB: Thiago Silva – 8/10

The Brazilian talent cleared his lines when needed and did enough to earn a clean sheet in the end.

CB: Benoit Badiashile – 8/10

Badiashile made a lot of crucial clearances at the back and was a dominant presence in the air.

Ziyech caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders and came off in the 88th minute with an assist to his name.

CAM: Carney Chukwuemeka – 6.5/10

He came back to defend at times but lacked quality in the final third.

LW: Mason Mount – 7/10

The English talent was a positive influence at both ends of the field but failed to register a goal today.
