Barcelona faced off against Girona at the Estadi Montilivi earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result away from home in La Liga. The Catalan outfit made a bright start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.

Pedri finally broke the deadlock for Barca in the 61st minute which turned out to be the only goal of the contest. Xavi’s men ended up earning an impressive 1-0 win on the road.

The Spaniard anchored the midfield well but lacked quality in the Girona half.
