Aston Villa clashed heads with Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure maximum points away from home in the Premier League. The Villans kept things solid at the back in the first 45 minutes and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Emiliano Buendia scored the opening goal for the West Midlands club in the 50th minute before Douglas Luiz added another goal in the 73rd minute when he found the back of the net from close range. The contest finished with the Villans earning an impressive 2-0 win on the road.
