Manchester City welcomed Everton at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn a win at home in the Premier League. Man City made a dominant start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 24th minute when Erling Haaland found the back of the net. The Mancunian outfit managed to get to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Demarai Gray scored the equaliser for Everton in the 64th minute with a wonderful strike. Man City failed to net the winning goal and were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player fared during the match against the Toffees.

GK: Ederson – 6/10

The Brazilian talent hardly had a save to make in the game but couldn’t do much about Gray’s excellent strike in the second half.

CB: John Stones – 6.5/10

Stones was unfortunate to hit the post with his headed effort. He was solid at the back for most of the game.

CB: Manuel Akanji – 6.5/10

He made a couple of important defensive contributions and passed the ball really well at times from the back.

CB: Nathan Ake – 6.5/10

Ake was strong in the air and cleared his lines when needed.

He created some good chances for his teammates but failed to register a goal or an assist today.

CM: Rodri – 7/10

Rodri was quite creative with his passing and was a threat going forward.

LM: Bernardo Silva – 6.5/10

He had a couple of lively moments in the game but lacked quality in the final third.

RW: Riyad Mahrez – 7.5/10

The Algerian winger was a constant menace down the right flank and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

ST: Erling Haaland – 6.5/10

Haaland opened the goal-scoring with a good finish but was mostly quiet in the second half.

LW: Jack Grealish – 6.5/10

He showed some flashes of his brilliance but was toothless in front of the opponent’s goal.

Alvarez struggled to get into the flow of the game.

LW: Phil Foden – N/A

He hardly had any time to influence the contest.
