Everton locked horns with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they looked to grind out a result on their travels. The Toffees made a solid start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 24th minute when Erling Haaland got his name on the scoresheet. Frank Lampard’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Demarai Gray scored a brilliant goal to equalise for Everton in the 64th minute as the contest finished with a 1-1 scoreline.

Let’s take a look at how each Everton player fared during the match against Man City.

GK: Jordan Pickford – 7/10

The English keeper made a couple of decent saves at the back but was a bit untidy with his passing.

RB: Nathan Patterson – 6/10

He worked hard defensively but lacked quality in the final third.

CB: Ben Godfrey – 6.5/10

Godfrey made two important defensive contributions and did well to restrict the opposition to just one goal.

CB: Conor Coady – 6/10

He made a couple of crucial clearances at the back and was tidy with his passing.
