Real Madrid will take on Cadiz on Thursday when they welcome them to Santiago Bernabeu looking to return to winning ways in the Spanish top flight. The European Champions suffered a lacklustre 3-2 defeat against Rayo Vallecano in their last outing. Even though they recorded a comfortable 5-1 win against Celtic in the UEFA Champions League last week, they will be looking to bounce back and grab a win as they dropped to the second position in La Liga.
Carlo Ancelotti will probably opt for a 4-3-3 formation once again and is expected to make a few changes to the starting XI. Aurelien Tchouameni will continue in the midfield while Toni Kroos returns to the centre of the park.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted XI Vs Cadiz
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will once again start in goal for Los Blancos after conceding three goals in his last appearance. David Alaba will keep his place and play alongside Eder Militao at the centre of Real Madrid’s defence as they try to keep the opposition attackers at bay throughout the game.
Dani Carvajal will operate as the right-back while Ferland Mendy hopes to catch the eye as the left-back. Both will get the license to go forward and join in on the attack whenever possible while keeping their shape defensively.
Lucas Vasquez and Nacho Fernandes will be available for selection on the bench as they provide cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Luka Modric, Aurelien Tchouameni and Toni Kroos will make up Real Madrid’s midfield as their main focus would be to dominate the battle at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.
Eduardo Camavinga will be named on the bench as he waits for a chance to shine in the second half if needed.
Attack
Vinicius Junior will function as the left-sided wide player while Valverde hopes to catch the eye from the right flank. Ancelotti will instruct both of them to stretch the field in the opponent’s half and provide support from the wide areas.
Rodrygo will continue to lead the charge for the Spanish side down the middle. The youngster will fancy his chances of finding the back of the net and getting his name on the scoresheet.
Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio will be available on Real Madrid’s bench and might get a chance to impress as the impact substitutes if Ancelotti decides to call upon their services.
