Real Madrid faced off against Rayo Vallecano at the Estadio de Vallecas earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result away from home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the fifth minute when Santi Comesana found the back of the net. However, the Madrid giants equalised via Luka Modric’s successful penalty in the 37th minute. Eder Militao completed the turnaround just four minutes later before the home team responded when Alvaro Garcia Rivera scored in the 44th minute. Both sides went into the half-time break with a 2-2 scoreline.

Oscar Trejo scored from the penalty spot in the 67th minute as Los Blancos crashed to a 3-2 defeat on the road.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player fared during the match against Rayo Vallecano.

The Belgian keeper made a few solid saves at the back and will be disappointed after conceding three goals tonight.

RB: Dani Carvajal – 6/10

The Spaniard cleared the danger when needed and made one good run with the ball.

CB: Eder Militao – 7/10

Militao made a few important clearances at the back and was also a threat going forward.

He looked vulnerable on the defensive end of the field but made two good chances in the final third.

CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 7/10

Tchouameni tried his best to protect his backline but failed to influence the game in the final third.

CM: Luka Modric – 6/10

Modric earned the ball back once and produced an underwhelming display at the centre of the park. However, he did score from the penalty spot in the 37th minute.

RW: Marco Asensio – 8/10

The Spanish sensation engineered a few clear-cut chances for others around him and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 6/10

He orchestrated a couple of inviting chances for his teammates but failed to register a goal tonight.
