Tottenham Hotspur entertained Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn a good result at home in the Premier League before the World Cup break. Spurs made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the tenth minute when Crysencio Summerville scored for the visitors. However, Harry Kane equalised for Tottenham in the 25th minute before Rodrigo Moreno gave Leeds the lead again just before half-time. Spurs were trailing 2-1 at the break.

Antonio Conte found the leveler in the 51st minute courtesy of Ben Davies’ goal. However, Rodrigo scored again for the Whites in the 76th minute before Rodrigo Bentancur netted a quick-fire brace late in the game to win the contest for Tottenham. The match ended with the North London club earning an impressive 4-3 win in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player fared during the contest against the Whites.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 5.5/10

The French keeper made a couple of solid saves but won’t be pleased after conceding three goals today.

CB: Eric Dier – 6/10

He did his fair share of defending and was strong in the air.

CB: Clement Lenglet – 6/10

The Frenchman got stuck in with a few tackles and failed to keep things tidy at the back.

CB: Ben Davies – 8/10

He earned the ball back a few times and had a great game in the final third. He scored Tottenham’s second equaliser in the 51st minute.

RM: Emerson Royal – 6.5/10

Emerson secured the ball back once and was a threat going forward.

CM: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg – 6/10

Hojbjerg struggled to get a foothold in the contest and produced a lackluster display for Tottenham Hotspur at the centre of the park.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 8.5/10

Bentancur tried his best to protect his teammates at the back and scored a quick-fire brace late in the game to win the clash for Tottenham.

LM: Ivan Perisic – 7/10

He came back to defend when needed but struggled to be decisive in the final third.

RW: Dejan Kulusevski – 8/10

Kulusevski caused all kinds of problems for the Leeds defenders and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

ST: Harry Kane – 8/10

The England international was a constant menace up top and deserves credit for finding the back of the net in the 25th minute.

LW: Richarlison – 6.5/10

The Brazilian sensation had some bright moments in the game but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

Substitutes:

CB: Davinson Sanchez – 6.5/10

He did his best to keep things solid at the back.

RM: Matt Doherty – 6.5/10

Doherty made one promising run with the ball.

CM: Yves Bissouma – 6/10

His impact on the game was minimal.

RW: Lucas Moura – N/A

The Brazilian didn’t get enough time to make an impact.
