West Ham United locked horns with Liverpool at Anfield earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result on their travels. The Hammers made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 22nd minute when Darwin Nunez scored with a good header. Jarrod Bowen missed a penalty later in the first half as the East London club went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
David Moyes’ men failed to mount a comeback in the second 45 minutes and crashed to a 1-0 defeat away from home.
