Manchester United welcomed Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points at home. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.

Fred opened the goal-scoring just two minutes into the second half with a deflected effort. Bruno Fernandes finally made the points secure for the home side when he found the back of the net in the 69th minute. The contest ended with Man United earning an impressive 2-0 victory at the Theatre of Dreams.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the match against Spurs.

GK: David de Gea – 7/10

The Spanish talent made a couple of solid saves at the back and earned a well-deserved clean sheet at Old Trafford tonight.

RB: Diogo Dalot – 7/10

He made a couple of important defensive contributions and was a threat going forward.

CB: Raphael Varane – 7/10

Varane made a few crucial clearances at the back and created two good chances in the final third.

He anchored the midfield with conviction and was good on the ball as well.

Fred did his fair share of defending and caused all kinds of problems for the Tottenham centre-backs. He opened the goal-scoring with a deflected effort.

RW: Antony – 7/10

He was unfortunate to hit the post with his excellent strike from long-range. Still, he deserves credit for being a menace in the final third.

Fernandes created plenty of inviting chances for others around him and got his name on the scoresheet with a good finish in the 69th minute.

LW: Jadon Sancho – 7/10

He made a few decent chances for others around him but failed to find the back of the net.

ST: Marcus Rashford – 6.5/10

He added some energy to Erik ten Hag’s midfield.

CM: Christian Eriksen – N/A

Eriksen didn’t get enough time to warrant a rating.
