Manchester City faced off against Copenhagen at Parken earlier today as they looked to secure a good result away from home in the UEFA Champions League. The Mancunian giants made a bright start to the game but found themselves at a numerical disadvantage as Sergio Gomez was sent off at the half-hour mark. Man City managed to get into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

The ten men of Man City controlled the game well in the second half but were held to a 0-0 draw after the full-time whistle.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player performed during the clash against FC Copenhagen.

GK: Ederson – 7/10

The Brazilian keeper had to make just one save in the game and earned a solid clean sheet on the road.

RB: Joao Cancelo – 7/10

Cancelo was solid at the back and had some bright moments in the final third. However, there was no goal or assist for him this evening.

CB: Manuel Akanji – 7/10

He didn’t do much wrong when defending inside his half and made one key chance going forward.

CB: Aymeric Laporte – 6.5/10

The Spaniard earned the ball back once and was accurate with his passing. He did enough to earn the shutout in the end.

CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 6.5/10

He was a threat going forward but failed to take any of his chances on the attacking end of the pitch.

RW: Riyad Mahrez – 5/10

Mahrez had some bright moments in the game but was replaced in the 32nd minute following Gomez’s dismissal.

CAM: Kevin De Bruyne – 7/10

The Belgian international caused a few headaches for the opposition but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

LW: Jack Grealish – 6.5/10

He made a few decent chances in the final third but lacked quality in front of the opposition goal.
