Barcelona entertained Bayern Munich at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result at home and keep their UEFA Champions League hopes alive for this season. The Catalan giants made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the tenth minute when Sadio Mane found the back of the net. Eric Choupo-Moting doubled the visitors’ advantage just 21 minutes later with a good strike from a tight angle. Barca went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.

Xavi’s men tried to mount a comeback in the second half but ended up conceding their third goal in injury time when Benjamin Pavard scored from close range. The match finished with Barca suffering a demoralizing 3-0 defeat in front of their home fans.
