Manchester United entertained West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a bright start to the game and took the lead over the Hammers in the 38th minute as Marcus Rashford found the back of the net with a beautiful header. Erik Ten Hag’s men controlled the game well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

The hosts did well defending their half and securing the clean sheet in the second 45 minutes as West Ham put on attacking pressure eager to equalise. However, the game ended in favour of Man United with a narrow 1-0 victory.

Let’s take a look at how each player fared during the match against West Ham United in this home encounter.

Dalot made a couple of important clearances at the back and remained a threat going forward as he made some decisive passes in the attacking third.

CB: Harry Maguire – 7/10

CB: Lisandro Martinez – 7/10

The Argentinian centre-back was relentless at the back and wasn’t afraid to make some hard-bound tackles as he kept the West Ham attackers in check.
