Bayern Munich locked horns with Barcelona at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a victory on their travels. The Bavarian giants made an excellent start to the game and got themselves ahead in the tenth minute courtesy of Sadio Mane’s strike. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting doubled Bayern’s lead in the 31st minute as Julian Nagelsmann’s men led 2-0 at half-time.
Benjamin Pavard put the icing on the cake when he added another goal in injury time as the contest finished 3-0 in favour of the German club.

GK: Sven Ulreich – 7/10
The German keeper didn’t have a single save to make in the game and secured an easy clean sheet on the road.
RB: Noussair Mazraoui – 7/10
He earned the ball back twice and didn’t do much wrong on the defensive end of the field. Mazraoui also made one key chance in the final third.
CB: Dayot Upamecano – 7/10
Upamecano kept things solid at the back during his time on the field. He was substituted just after the hour mark.
CB: Matthijs de Ligt – 8/10
The Dutch central defender was a rock at the back and was responsible for making some timely interceptions for his side. He will be happy with the clean sheet tonight.
LB: Alphonso Davies – 7.5/10
Davies got stuck in with plenty of solid tackles and made a couple of decent runs with the ball down the left flank.
CM: Joshua Kimmich – 7.5/10
The German talent anchored the midfield with conviction and created a few decent chances in the opponent’s half.
CM: Leon Goretzka – 6.5/10
He made some crunching tackles but offered very little going forward. Goretzka got replaced at half-time.
RW: Serge Gnabry – 8.5/10
Gnabry got stuck in with some solid tackles and engineered a few decent chances in the final third. He ended the game with three assists to his name.
CAM: Jamal Musiala – 6.5/10
He threatened the opposition goal at times but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
LW: Sadio Mane – 9/10
Mane came back to defend when needed and produced an excellent display in the Barcelona half. He opened the goal-scoring tonight and deserved the man of the match award.
ST: Eric Choupo-Moting – 7.5/10
He had a few lively moments in the game but doubled Bayern’s advantage in the 31st minute.
