AC Milan clashed heads with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they looked to cause an upset on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Milan giants made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 24th minute when Wesley Fofana got his name on the scoresheet. Stefano Pioli’s men managed to get into the half-time break just 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doubled Chelsea’s advantage in the 56th minute before Reece James killed the contest off just five minutes later with a good finish. AC Milan ended up suffering a poor 3-0 loss in the English capital.

Let’s take a look at how each AC Milan player performed during the match against the Blues.

GK: Ciprian Tătăruşanu – 6/10

He made a few decent saves and was tidy with his passing. However, the Milan goalie won’t be happy after shipping in three goals tonight.

RB: Sergino Dest – 5.5/10

Dest looked vulnerable defensively but made one key chance in the opponent’s half.

CB: Pierre Kalulu – 6/10

Kalulu earned the ball back twice and was accurate with his ball distribution.

CB: Fikayo Tomori – 6/10

He was sloppy when defending inside his half at times but did manage to make a handful of crucial clearances at the back.

LB: Fodé Ballo-Touré – 6.5/10

He performed his defensive duties well and made one good run down the left flank.

CM: Sandro Tonali – 5.5/10

The Italian talent struggled to get a stranglehold in the game and produced a disjointed display at the centre of the park.

CM: Ismael Bennacer – 6/10

He got stuck in with some solid tackles and made one good run with the ball.

RW: Rade Krunić – 5.5/10

Krunic was mostly quiet in the opponent’s half and hardly got a sniff at goal.

CAM: Charles De Ketelaere – 6/10

He had a couple of bright moments but never looked like he would score.

LW: Rafael Leao – 6/10

Leao made some decent runs with the ball and made one good chance in the final third.

ST: Olivier Giroud – 6/10

The French forward came back to defend when needed but failed to threaten the Chelsea goal.

CB: Matteo Gabbia – 6/10

He made two important clearances.

RW: Ante Rebic – 6/10

Rebic offered very little after coming on in the 64th minute.

CAM: Brahim Diaz – 6.5/10

The Spaniard made some good runs with the ball.

CM: Tommaso Pobega – 6/10

He was accurate with his passing.
