Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a win in the London derby. Spurs made a bright star to the contest and got their noses ahead in the 40th minute when Pierre-Emile Højbjerg scored with a low strike. Antonio Conte’s men went into the half-time interval with a narrow one-goal lead.
Harry Kane doubled Tottenham’s advantage in the 75th minute. However, Fulham got a late consolation goal just eight minutes later courtesy of Alexander Mitrovic’s excellent finish. The match ended with Spurs securing a narrow 2-1 win at home.

The French keeper made a couple of solid saves at the back but will be disappointed for conceding a late goal which ruined his hopes of a clean sheet.

The Argentine talent kept things tidy at the back and was a threat at the other end of the field as well.

Dier made some important interceptions inside his half and was accurate with his passing.
CB: Clement Lenglet – 6.5/10
He cleared his lines when needed and was strong in the air. The Frenchman won’t be pleased after conceding such a late goal.
RM: Emerson Royal – 7.5/10
He did his fair share of defending and made two good runs with the ball down the right flank.
CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 6.5/10
Bentancur anchored the midfield well and engineered two key chances in the final third.
CM: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg – 7.5/10
He got his name on the scoresheet with a decent strike late in the first half. Hojbjerg was even tidy with his ball distribution.
LM: Ryan Sessegnon – 7/10
The English talent performed his defensive duties well and was a constant menace on the attacking end of the field.
RAM: Richarlison – 8.5/10
He caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
LAM: Heung-min Son – 7.5/10
Son orchestrated a lot of good chances for others around him but there was still no goal for him today.
ST: Harry Kane – 8/10
Kane was a real threat in the final third and scored the all-important second goal for Spurs which killed the game off.
