Tottenham Hotspur entertained Leicester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to pick up all three points at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a poor start to the game as they conceded an early penalty which Youri Tielemans scored to put the visitors ahead in the sixth minute. However, Harry Kane equalised just two minutes later before Eric Dier gave Tottenham the lead in the 21st minute. James Maddison netted the equaliser in the 41st minute as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 2-2 scoreline.

Rodrigo Bentancur scored Spurs’ third goal in the 47th minute before Heung-min Son came off the bench and bagged a hattrick in the final quarter of the match. The contest ended with the North London club earning a dominant 6-2 win after a stellar second-half display this evening.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player fared during the match against the Foxes.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 7/10

The French keeper will be disappointed for conceding two goals in the first half. However, he made a few solid saves during the game.

CB: Davinson Sanchez – 6/10

He had a tough first half defensively and got replaced in the 58th minute.

CB: Eric Dier – 7.5/10

Dier cleared the danger when needed and was a threat at the other end. He got his name on the scoresheet in the 21st minute.

CB: Clement Lenglet – 6.5/10

Rodrigo offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was a constant menace in the Leicester half. He did well to find the back of the net early in the second half.

He struggled to get a foothold in the game at times and did well to last the whole 90 minutes.
