Tottenham Hotspur entertained Leicester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to pick up all three points at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a poor start to the game as they conceded an early penalty which Youri Tielemans scored to put the visitors ahead in the sixth minute. However, Harry Kane equalised just two minutes later before Eric Dier gave Tottenham the lead in the 21st minute. James Maddison netted the equaliser in the 41st minute as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 2-2 scoreline.
Rodrigo Bentancur scored Spurs’ third goal in the 47th minute before Heung-min Son came off the bench and bagged a hattrick in the final quarter of the match. The contest ended with the North London club earning a dominant 6-2 win after a stellar second-half display this evening.
