Chelsea entertained West Ham United at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they looked to earn a positive result in front of their home fans in the London derby. The Blues made a decent start to the game but failed to make their dominance count in the first half. They went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Michail Antonio finally broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute via a tap-in. However, Ben Chilwell equalised for Chelsea with a chipped effort in the 76th minute before Kai Havertz completed the turnaround for the Blues in the 88th minute. West Ham had a goal disallowed late in the game as Thomas Tuchel’s men secured a 2-1 win in the derby.
