Real Madrid clashed heads with Celta Vigo at the Estadio de Balaídos earlier tonight as they focused on securing a positive result on their travels. Los Blancos made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 14th minute via Karim Benzema’s penalty. However, the home side equalised courtesy of Iago Aspas’ penalty just nine minutes later. Luka Modric regained Real Madrid’s lead in the 41st minute with a stunning strike as Carlo Ancelotti’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.

Vinicius Junior put daylight between the two sides when he scored with a good run and finish in the 56th minute. Federico Valverde added another goal just ten minutes later as Los Blancos ended up cruising to an impressive 4-1 victory away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player fared during the match against Celta Vigo.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 6.5/10

The Belgian keeper made one good save during the game but will be disappointed for not keeping a clean sheet tonight.

RB: Dani Carvajal – 6/10

He didn’t do much wrong on the defensive end of the field but offered very little going forward.

CB: Eder Militao – 6.5/10

Militao earned the ball back a couple of times for his side. He was accurate with his passing as well.

CB: David Alaba – 6.5/10

He cleared the danger when required and engineered one good chance in the opposition half.

He anchored the midfield with conviction and caused a lot of problems for the opposition in the final third.

Valverde worked hard and deserves credit for scoring a good goal in the second half.
