Leeds United entertained Chelsea at Elland Road earlier today as they hoped to grind out a good result at home. The Whites made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 33rd minute when Brenden Aaronson scored after capitalising on Edouard Mendy’s mistake. Rodrigo doubled Leeds’ advantage just four minutes later with a well-directed header. The Yorkshire giants went into the half-time interval 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Jack Harrison went on to score another goal for the Whites in the 69th minute as they ended up cruising to a 3-0 win in front of their home supporters.

He performed his defensive duties well and made a few driving runs with the ball down the left flank.
CM: Marc Roca – 7/10
The Spanish talent got stuck in with a few crunching tackles and made one good run with the ball. He got replaced at the hour mark.
CM: Tyler Adams – 7/10
Adams offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and engineered a couple of inviting chances in the final third.
RW: Brenden Aaronson – 7.5/10
Aaronson worked hard defensively and was a constant menace in the opposition half. He opened the goal-scoring for Leeds after punishing Mendy’s mistake and was one of the most energetic players on the field today.
CAM: Rodrigo – 7.5/10
The Spaniard timed his runs well towards the opponent’s penalty box and was a real threat up top. He ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.
LW: Jack Harrison – 8.5/10
Harrison made a few dangerous runs with the ball and managed to score and create a goal during his time on the field.
ST: Daniel James – 6.5/10
He linked up play well with others around him but failed to register a goal.
