Everton faced off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a good result on their travels. The Toffees made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 24th minute when Anthony Gordon found the back of the net. However, the home team responded positively but Everton hung on to get to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

The Bees finally managed to net the equaliser in the 84th minute via Vitaly Janelt’s goal. Both teams ended up playing out a 1-1 draw.

Let’s take a look at how each Everton player performed during the match against the Bees.

GK: Jordan Pickford – 7.5/10

The English keeper made a few crucial stops at the back but won’t be pleased after allowing such a late goal.

CB: Mason Holgate – 6.5/10

Holgate made a lot of clearances inside his half and made one good chance in the final third.

CB: Conor Coady – 7/10

He cleared the danger when required and picked up an assist for setting up Gordon’s goal.

CB: James Tarkowski – 8/10

Tarkowski made a lot of crucial clearances at the back and did enough to restrict Brentford from scoring more than once today.
