Everton faced off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a good result on their travels. The Toffees made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 24th minute when Anthony Gordon found the back of the net. However, the home team responded positively but Everton hung on to get to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
