Aston Villa entertained Burnley at Villa Park earlier tonight as they hoped to grind out a good result at home. The Villans were dominant in the first half but conceded the opening goal in the 45th minute when Ashley Barnes scored from the penalty spot. The West Midlands side were trailing 1-0 at the half-time break.
Emiliano Buendia made up for giving away a penalty by equalising for the Villans with a quality finish in the 48th minute. The two sides could not be separated at full-time as the match ended with a 1-1 scoreline.
Let’s take a look at how each Aston Villa player performed during the clash against the Clarets.

Digne was solid when defending inside his half and made some key chances in the final third.
