Arsenal will lock horns with Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, looking to take the three points on their home turf. The Whites come into the match on the back of an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in their last Premier League fixture, whereas the Gunners recorded a 2-1 victory over West Ham United.

The remainder of the games in the Premier League are all big games for Arsenal between now and the end of the season as they chase down a place in next season’s Champions League. With just three games left to play, the Gunners sit two points clear of Tottenham in fifth and would want to continue the winning streak.

Arsenal Vs Leeds United: Talking Tactics

Mikel Arteta will probably opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation with a couple of tweaks from the last game.

Jesse Marsch could set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and will make a few changes to his first XI for this game. Robin Koch, Junior Firpo and Daniel James will probably get the nod to play from the start as Marsch looks to select a strong team for this game.

Thomas Partey remains sidelined for the long term. Kieran Tierney will undergo knee surgery and is likely to miss out on the rest of the season. Ben White would likely be fit enough to feature in the backline having missed out on the match against the Hammers. Bukayo Saka was called off the pitch early, in the last fixture, due to fatigue. The winger would be expected to be fit for selection.

Arsenal Predicted XI

Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tavares; Elneny, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Smith-Rowe; Nketiah

Leeds United

Liam Cooper is unlikely to be risked in this game as he is still recovering from a knee injury. Adam Forshaw and Patrick Bamford remain sidelined due to injury woes.

Leeds United Predicted XI

Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Strujik, Firpo; Koch, Phillips; Raphinha, Rodrigo, Harrison; James

Key Men

The Gunners will rely on the creativity of Smith-Rowe, Nketiah and Saka as they look to collectively produce a winning performance over the weekend.

Odegaard will be tasked with creating chances for the attacking trio, whereas Ederson will be expected to make some solid stops at the back.

Leeds United

Meslier will have to give a strong performance at the back if the Whites are to keep a clean sheet in this game. James will carry most of the goal-scoring responsibility.
