West Ham United entertained Sevilla at the London Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on overturning their 1-0 deficit from the first leg of their UEFA Europa League last 16 tie. The Hammers made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 39th minute courtesy of Tomas Soucek’s good header. David Moyes’ men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Both sides canceled each other out in the second half as the match finished 1-0 in favour of the Hammers after normal time.

Andriy Yarmolenko came off the bench and scored the deciding goal in the 112th minute which was enough to give West Ham a 2-0 victory after extra-time. The Hammers managed to win the tie by a 2-1 scoreline on aggregate and successfully secured a place in the quarterfinal stage of the Europa League.

Let’s take a look at how each West Ham player performed during the clash against Sevilla.

The Hammers keeper made two solid saves and secured an important clean sheet tonight.

RB: Ben Johnson – 7/10

CB: Kurt Zouma – 7/10

The Frenchman made numerous clearances at the back and did enough to keep his clean sheet intact.
