Newcastle United locked horns with Everton at Goodison Park earlier tonight as they tried to bounce back by picking up a win on the road. The Magpies held their own in the first 45 minutes and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.

The Tyneside outfit found themselves at a numerical advantage when Allan was sent off in the 83rd minute for a reckless challenge. However, Eddie Howe’s men couldn’t take advantage of the situation and ended up conceding a goal to Alex Iwobi in injury-time. The match finished with the Magpies suffering a 1-0 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Newcastle player performed during the match against the Toffees.

GK: Martin Dubravka – 6.5/10

The talented keeper made a couple of saves during the game and will be disappointed after allowing such a late goal.

RB: Emil Krafth – 7/10

He was strong in the air and gave a good account of himself when defending inside his half.

CB: Fabian Schar – 6/10

Schar made two important defensive contributions but struggled to impress with his performance on the defensive end of the field.

CB: Dan Burn – 7/10

The Newcastle centre-half made multiple clearances at the back and even blocked a couple of goal-bound shots.
