Leeds United faced off against Everton at Goodison Park earlier today as they looked to secure a win on their travels. The Whites made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the tenth minute when Seamus Coleman found the back of the net. Just 13 minutes later, Michael Keane doubled Everton’s advantage with a powerful header as the Yorkshire outfit went into the half-time interval 2-0 down on the scoreline.

Anthony Gordon extinguished any hopes of a comeback for Leeds when he scored in the 78th minute with a good strike. Marcelo Bielsa’s men ended up suffering a 3-0 loss away at Merseyside.

Let’s take a look at how each Leeds player fared during the contest against the Toffees.

GK: Illan Meslier – 7/10

He made plenty of crucial saves at the back but still ended up conceding three goals today.

RB: Luke Ayling – 6/10

Ayling got stuck in with a lot of tackles but lacked quality on the ball.

CB: Diego Llorente – 6.5/10

The Spaniard earned the ball back multiple times for his side but will be disappointed after failing to keep a clean sheet in both halves.

CB: Pascal Struijk – 6/10

He tried his best to clear the danger when needed but looked disjointed at the back.

He had a few lively moments in the first half but got replaced at half-time.

CM: Rodrigo – 7/10

Klich struggled to get into the rhythm of the game in the first half and got substituted at half-time.

LW: Jack Harrison – 7/10

He caused a lot of headaches for the opposition due to his creativity and dribbling. However, there was no goal for him today.

ST: Daniel James – 6/10

James was quiet for most of the game and didn’t get too many sniffs at goal.

CB: Leo Hjelde – 6.5/10

He added some bite and steel to Leeds’ backline.

CM: Adam Forshaw – 6/10

Forshaw injected some energy into Bielsa’s midfield.
