The Spanish shot-stopper didn’t have too many saves to make, but he did well to deal with whatever was thrown at him.

Alex Telles 8

The Brazilian wing-back added an extra dimension to United’s attacks by stretching the game down the left flank. He fared well defensively as well.

Harry Maguire 7

The best part about his game tonight was that he didn’t make any mistakes. Nonetheless, he did well to keep everything in order at the back.

Victor Lindelof 8

Underrated and underappreciated. The Swedish defender made some crunching tackles to stop the Palace attackers from creating menace. Besides, he positioned himself exceptionally well over the course of the 90 minutes.

Diogo Dalot 7.5

Same as Telles, Dalot created all sorts of troubles for the Palace attackers down the right-wing. However, his deliveries into the box could have been a bit better.

Scott McTominay 7

The Scotland international pressed hard and effectively for the first time in years, and it’d be an understatement to say that it paid off as he put an end to Palace’s counter-attacking moves on several occasions.

Fred 9

The Brazilian midfielder placed his shot exceptionally from just outside of the box to secure all three points for United tonight. If he keeps up with this sort of work rate under Rangnick, he might turn into one of the best holding midfielders in the world.

Bruno Fernandes 7

The Portuguese playmaker created quite a few chances for his teammates over the course of the 90 minutes.

Jadon Sancho 7

The former Dortmund winger could cut through the Palace defence effortlessly, but he struggled with his decision making in front of the goal.

Marcus Rashford 6

The England international looked really blunt during the build-ups and in the final third.

Cristiano Ronaldo 6

The Portugal international wasted a couple of good chances in the first half. His link-up play wasn’t as impressive either.
