Leeds United entertained Brentford at Elland Road earlier this afternoon as they hoped to secure all three points at home. The Whites made a good start to the contest and took the lead in the 27th minute when Tyler Roberts nudged the ball into the back of the net. Marcelo Bielsa’s men protected their lead well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

The Bees made an electric start to the second half and scored two quick-fire goals with the help of Shanon Baptiste and Sergi Canos respectively. However, Patrick Bamford came off the bench and netted a dramatic equaliser in injury-time as the contest finished 2-2 at West Yorkshire.

Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player performed during the clash against the Bees.

GK: Illan Meslier – 5.5/10

The Whites goalie only made one save in the game and won’t be pleased after shipping in two goals in the first 16 minutes of the second half.

CB: Luke Ayling – 7.5/10

Ayling made a few important interceptions at the back and cleared his lines when needed. He was also a threat at the other end and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CB: Diego Llorente – 6/10

The Spanish defender made a couple of crucial defensive contributions and also engineered a good chance going forward. However, he will be disappointed after allowing two goals in the second half.

CB: Liam Cooper – 6/10

Cooper could only last 16 minutes before he had to go off the pitch with a hamstring injury.

CM: Adam Forshaw – 7/10

He won the ball back a couple of times and made two decent chances for his teammates to score.

LM: Junior Firpo – 7/10

The Brazilian wing wizard picked up an assist for setting up Tyler Roberts’ goal in the first half. He completed some eye-catching dribbles with the ball and engineered a few inviting opportunities for others around him.

ST: Tyler Roberts – 8/10

The Welsh striker gave Leeds United the lead in the 27th minute. He was a constant threat in the final third and had multiple attempts at goal.

LW: Daniel James – 6.5/10

He made two good chances but didn’t get a sniff at goal.

Substitutes:

LW: Jack Harrison – 7/10

Harrison had to do a lot of defending and had a couple of promising moments in the attacking end of the field.

CM: Mateusz Klich – 6/10

He offered very little after coming off the bench.

ST: Patrick Bamford – 7/10
