Manchester United faced off against Atalanta at Old Trafford as they looked to return to winning ways earlier tonight. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were poor in the first half as they conceded the opening goal in the 15th minute when Mario Pasalic found the back of the net. Merih Demiral doubled Atalanta’s advantage just 13 minutes later with a well-directed header as Man United went into the half-time 2-0 down on the scoreline.

Marcus Rashford got a goal back for the Red Devils just eight minutes into the second half before Harry Maguire scored the equaliser in the 75th minute. It was Cristiano Ronaldo who once again came to Solskjaer’s rescue as the Portuguese superstar ended up scoring the winning goal with a thumping header with just nine minutes remaining on the clock. The home team ended up digging out an impressive 3-2 comeback win in front of the Man United faithful.

Let’s take a look at how each Man United player performed during the match against Atalanta.

GK: David de Gea – 6.5/10

The Spaniard made two important saves in the second half to keep his side in the contest. However, he will be disappointed after conceding two goals in the first half.

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6.5/10

Wan-Bissaka made a couple of interceptions and created one good chance in the Atalanta half.

CB: Victor Lindelof – 6/10

Lindelof looked nervous at the back in the first half. However, he did enough defensively to restrict the opposition from scoring in the second.

CB: Harry Maguire – 7.5/10

The English defender cleared the danger when required and did well to net the all-important equaliser for Man United in the 75th minute.

Rashford got a golden chance to score late in the first half but could only manage to hit the post. However, he made amends by scoring early in the second half.
